Home based business... it's easier than you think

Hi there...  I'd like a few minutes of your time to explain how to succeed in developing a 'home-based-business'.
 

Fear of rejection

This is the single biggest factor that stops people from:

• making introductions ("I don't know anybody!")

• picking up the telephone (the handset suddenly weighs 50kgs!)

• arranging appointments ("but they might say... NO")

• doing presentations ("I'm no good at public speaking")

Most people suffer similar feelings, and we all hate 'rejection', including myself, soooooooo..... how do we deal with it???

Very simply.... we never let ourselves be put in situation where we can suffer cold, hard, rejection!

To illustrate, I'd like to give you an example of an approach that almost guarantees rejection, followed by one that completely eliminates rejection when a new prospect responds to an ad, flyer, website promo, etc..

A 'Rejection-prone' approach

"Good afternoon Mrs. Jones, can I have a few minutes of your time to tell you about the most amazing, unique, new home based business system on the market! It will take me about 30 minutes to present it to you, will this afternoon be suitable, or would tomorrow be better?"

The above approach is already starting to build serious resistance and Mrs. Jones will almost certainly say... "No".

"Rejection-free" approach

"Good afternoon Mrs. Jones... I am calling because you recently responded to an advertisment from our company seeking people interested in developing a home based business..... are you still interested in developing a home based business?"

Using this 'rejection-free' opener, you are merely asking a simple question to which Mrs. Jones is most probably going to say "Yes".... this then leads naturally into the remainder of the '5 Critical Questions' that can help you develop a successful home based business.

Even in the unlikely event that Mrs. Jones says "No", you have merely had your question answered and avoided wasting time with a person who would have been of no use to you.

NB: The second most important point in building a successful home based business.... spend your precious time working with the right people!
